A Journey of Clarity: The Hidden Value of Visualization

Find out why the process of creating a Visual Map or Video-Scribing can be as fulfilling for the client as the final result.

An Opportunity to Strengthen the Purpose

All companies know how to answer questions like 'Who are we?', 'What do we do?', or 'Where are we headed?', but when it comes to illustrating them and deciding what to represent visually, the answers may not be as obvious or agreed upon.

The work leading up to the creation of a Visual Map or an Animated Explainer Video involves a series of conversations with MrSCRIBING, during which the client not only describes the content they want to illustrate but also, suddenly, finds themselves in the position of explaining and articulating what has sometimes been implicit within the company.

This exercise clarifies the topics for the visual project and subtly triggers an internal dialogue about the relevance of the objectives the organization is pursuing.

Since the piece will graphically standardize the connection between certain ideas, this dialogue provides an opportunity to revalidate concepts, agreeing on what will be portrayed. In this way, the process strengthens cohesion and updates the sense of purpose: which will ultimately be catalyzed into the drawings.

Guidance and Synthesis

Perhaps the client, immersed in day-to-day operations, may find it difficult to synthesize the complex ideas they want to convey by themselves. This is where providing an external perspective that helps uncover the most important aspects is key to distilling the essence of the message. In this way, a collaboration emerges that combines the company’s deep knowledge of its sector with MrSCRIBING’s expertise to create a visual representation that not only stays true to the client’s vision but is also clear and effective for the target audience.

What Is Spoken Exists. What Is Drawn Is Tangible.

In summary, the hidden or less obvious value of visualization is that the commissioned graphic piece starts generating a positive effect long before it’s even designed. Once completed and circulating in daily operations, it will reaffirm and organically spread ideas, making them tangible. In internal communication cases, it will make concepts more understandable and consistent throughout the organization. As for external communication, it will project images and messages to the world through which the company will feel as undeniably identified as represented.
